Every child deserves to be loved and nurtured.

With young minds and limited capabilities, children need someone to guide them every step of the way as well as a family to keep them safe and secure. Children are a blessing bestowed to every parent, so it is right to shower them with as much love and protection as possible.

However, this is not the case for foster kids.

What is a foster child?

A foster child is a child who lacks parental protection and support. These children are usually placed in foster homes by local welfare services. They are in need of a loving family to take care of their basic needs and a set of parents/guardians who is willing to treat them as their own.

Foster parents and their role in the child’s life

Right now, there are thousands of children who need shelter, as well as the guidance of a loving family. Most foster children suffered abuse, neglect and rejection from the very people who are supposed to love them the most.

As foster spend their childhood years in the absence of their biological parents, imagine how hard it is for them to carry such burden. Most of these children have missed out on the joys and adventures of their childhood years.

You can help lighten their burden by volunteering to assist us in improving the lives of foster children right here in New Jersey.

Foster children need to be surrounded with loving people and actions in order to erase and/or ease the difficult and traumatic painful memories that they may be experiencing. Plus,

it will be so intrinsically beneficial for you to let foster children feel how great it is to be loved and appreciated.

It is an amazing feeling knowing that you have made a difference in the life of a child. Volunteer today to help us improve the life of a foster child tomorrow.
